Sig Sauer Advanced Rifle Instructor (ARI) Course
Overview:
· Discover the SIG SAUER Academy Principles of Firearms Training.
· Understand and apply Adult Learning Theory to tailor instructional methods that resonate with diverse learning styles.
· Identify and employ effective techniques for proper demonstration in firearms training.
· Differentiate between performance-based and outcome-based training strategies for enhanced skill development.
· Comprehend the importance of visual input in firearms training and teach techniques that facilitate success.
· Recognize various adult learning styles and implement tailored approaches to enhance overall performance.
· Break down conventional training barriers by adopting innovative and proven methodologies.
· Acquire proficiency in foundational drills and skills essential for consistent success in firearms training.
· Develop the ability to establish and utilize metrics to assess and enhance the success of training programs.
· Incorporate video analysis techniques to identify areas for improvement and enhance overall performance.
Prerequisites: Student must already be a certified rifle instructor. Students failing to meet and maintain our safety requirements and/or who cannot meet and immediately demonstrate the minimum skills required for the specific class may be removed from training. Please ensure you have read through the class description and fully understand our prerequisites before registering.

Equipment: Patrol rifle w/ sling and 5 magazines.
Combat optic (recommended)
Duty Pistol with 3 magazines
Belt mounted, dominant side concealment holster or duty rig.
Magazine / ammunition pouches for each weapon
Sturdy Belt at least 1.5” wide
Knee and elbow pads (optional)
Casual, comfortable clothing for training in any weather and footwear suitable for rapid movement and turning.
Hydration system and sunscreen
Hat with a brim wrap around eyewear, polycarbonate lenses or non-shattering prescription glasses
Earmuffs and/or earplugs
