Ron Havniear

Ron Havniear is a seasoned operational leader with extensive leadership experience in the military, the corporate world, and education. Ron is a dynamic leader, adept at performing in complex, time-constrained, and high-stakes operating environments. He was the architect of one of the largest school-based active shooter and emergency response exercises in the nation, with over 450 participants and more than 30 agencies and organizations participating. For his efforts, Havniear has recently been recognized for excellence by the mayor, the governor, the superintendent, the American Society of Safety Professionals, and PACE for excellence in safety, security and emergency management. Ron is a graduate of the United States Academy at West Point. Ron believes that community level issues require community level solutions, and he is committed to “bringing to life” safety and security as an everyday value and a keystone habit.

Tina Chasteen

Tina Chasteen has served as Safety and Security Specialist in the Medford School District since 2022. She has helped orchestrate the effort of numerous security projects including planning a large-scale multi-agency exercise, multiple ALICE trainings, command post trainings for 24 sites, onboarding SROs and school marshals, as well as multiple security drills.

Chris Dode
Chris is currently a Detective with the Medford Police Department.
