The Situation Table: Addressing Acutely Elevated Risk

After earning a Bachelor's Degree in Biology I began a career as a Faculty Research Assistant at Oregon State University. Looking for a career change, I became a Reserve Police Officer with the Corvallis Police Department in 1996. This led to employment as a Police Officer with CPD in 1998. I served as an FTO and instructor before being promoted to Sergeant in 2004. In 2017 I was selected to lead CPD's Community Livability Unit, a team of dedicated problem-solvers tasked with addressing complicated community issues. A promotion to Lieutenant followed in 2019, and then to Captain in 2020.
